preserving & sharing ancient wisdom of the BalineseBuilding bridges between the worlds – that is my mission.
Since childhood I’ve had a passion of learning about the different cultures of the world. Now, this passion has grown into sharing my knowledge of the Balinese culture, which I am blessed to have grown up with.
Born into a Balinese family of priests & temple-keepers, I feel a desire & a responsibility to honor my lineage, while also bringing it forward in my own unique way. As I have traveled to different places around the globe & witnessed their cultures, I not only see similarities between the different belief systems & ways of living, but also what we can learn from each other, and what wisdom is worth to be integrated.
Millions of people from all over the world visit the island of Gods each year, and some even decide to call it their home. As someone who is well integrated in both societies, I have found a purpose in bringing East & West together, for a more harmonious co-living and to preserve the precious & unique wisdom of the ancient Balinese.
“Spirituality is not some external goal that one must seek, but a part of the divine core of each of us, which we must reveal.”

what to expect
visions & goals
In my workshops & events, I teach the Balinese traditions in an understandable way to foreigners.
Through this, I also shed light on ancient indigenous wisdom & timeless philosophy of the island that can benefit many Westerners.
I believe we can all learn from each other, and a balance between the worlds is necessary for us to rise into a prosperous future.
Usually, the workshops end in a collective prayer the Balinese way. I want every participant to go home feeling confident to visit temples or local festivities by themselves, and thus becoming part of the traditional life in Bali.
The power of prayer is here to guide you on your path.
Whatever your beliefs are, you can always take a little time to close your eyes to withdraw from the outside world, to go deep within yourself, and to reflect on what is important to you right now and what makes you feel alive.
Offerings
connect deeper with Bali!
Since 2018, I have been sharing about the Balinese philosphy & spirituality in countless offerings, events & retreats.
My greatest joy is to work together with my family, namely my aunt Ayu Parniasih and my cousin Cahaya Wedha, with who I do Balinese offering making workshops, called “The Art of Balinese Offerings”.
I offer a variety of experiences for those who are keen to explore.

“I’m so glad I heard my intuition and went to the workshop that day.
A stronger force helped me to be there and now I understand why. Not to sound too woo-woo but seriously … ever since I did the workshop, started doing my daily offerings, going to the temples with the offerings, it feels like a “portal” opened in my life. I understood why Bali called me 6 years ago and so many many other things.. like really life changing things. I just had one of the most beautiful important weeks of my entire life and I believe is due to everything you and your family shared with us that day. So really, Purnama, there are no words that can describe my gratitude to you. But I’ll make sure to always keep an extra prayer for you and your family. 🙏🏼♥️”
“I thoroughly enjoyed Purnama’s workshop! I have been coming to Bali for 15 years, and have tried many times to learn more about the culture. Your offerings class gave me what I was seeking … and so much more! I would happily attend again.
It should almost be mandatory for not just visitors to Bali, but expats also, to attend your very informative and enjoyable offerings session. Thank you so much for enlightening me in something I have been very curious about for a long time, but, until now, hadn’t yet found the right person/place to provide the information.”

The man of action finds his God in fire, the man of feeling in the heart, and the feeble minded in the idol, but the strong in spirit finds God everywhere. The seers see the Supreme in the self, and not in images.”

For a long time, it has been a dream of mine to introduce the Balinese New Year called "Nyepi" -...
Let us build bridges instead of walls.
Let us come together as one human race.
Let us be curious & open-minded about our differences, while acknowledging the oneness we all emerge from.
